Background and Approach
As a teenager, I first started working at my parents' Nursing Home for the Elderly in Scotland, where I gained several years of P.S.W. experience while developing a deep love and respect for the residents. I later worked in hospitals in Glasgow as a student nurse. In Canada, I completed a dual diploma in Social Service Work and Mental Health & Addictions Work at Fleming College and have worked with the elderly in their own homes for the past 4 years.
